Is Duke helping Palin and the Tea Party appeal to "Real Americans"
64See for Yourself!
The NAACP is accusing the tea party as being a racist group and calls for its leaders to condemn racism. We have seen the Tea Party candidates dress in Nazi uniforms, a leader of a local tea party group being a former Knight of the Klu Klux Klan, White nationalist groups backing and even running for governor and members at rallies holding up a Curious George monkey, to resemble President Barack Obama.
David Duke has contributed his two cents, by releasing a video. He states that the majority of White people voted against our current president and that it is not a bad thing for the Tea Party to be overwhelming White.
Being an overwhelming white group is not the crime, but to say that the group is set out to promote White issues is a confirmation of the NAACP’s claims. He pointed out that this country is for “Free white people” and that Jefferson, who also had a black wife and children, stated that Black and White people could not live together.
He slithered out his feelings about how the Jews run the media and the government and he feels that this is a country specifically for Whites. All of us who, at the least, made it to the fifth grade, knows that if we are going to talk about who’s country this is, only native Americans or in some parts of the country like Texas or California, the Mexicans, can only claim that.
the Upshot
A California GOP consultant and founder of the Tea Party Express has also been criticized for his racial charged comments. Zachary Roth, from The Upshot wrote, "Palin is out there with Tea Party Express, which hasn't held Williams to account," Jealous said, adding that Palin should "distance herself from Tea Party Express until they've held Williams accountable."’
And they wrote, “Williams has referred to Allah as a "monkey God." And in July, after the NAACP passed a resolution condemning racism in the tea party movement, Williams penned an online mock-letter, written in the voice of Jealous, suggesting that blacks were happier under slavery. The Tea Party Express denounced the letter and ousted Williams from the group's leadership soon after. Williams has since apologized for the letter and had it removed.’

Be a compassionate conservative
But really that is neither here or there. These are the people that are defending the Tea Party. It is also good to say that if Palin, Dick Armey and other leaders of this group did speak out against the racist, either they would lose their clout or would not be heard.
To blame everything on “they” and to explain Obama as one of “them, not one of us” and feel the need to say “take our country back” can only work on the uninformed. It is alright to disagree with your government, but to be willing to tear your country apart just because an African American president is in office is simply wrong. I have never heard people say that public schools, fire departments and public parks are examples of socialism before our current president is in office.
When did average every day Americans care so much about whether the richest Americans have to pay higher taxes. When was the idea of being able to get health insurance a bad idea. Are we looking forward to going back in time to uncontrolled diseases, when presidents had a shoot out to see who will be the next president or when African American and Native American were slaves?

Hi Tina! I am certainly against racism. These folks I penned long ago to be for the crazy who think the crazy right just isn't crazy enough. My last word though - they all are "right wing crazies after election day. MONEY always gets want money wants. They are never satisfied though. The love and lust for money is the downfall of the rich! They do not believe in God. They do want the masses controlled by their religions though. And- folks think they aren't. God bless Dear!
